:)) It's hilarious. You should attach it to the "Polish sense of humour" thread...

Do you guys prefer organic or gutted juice?

Let me guess, Polish gravel is better than everyone else's too, right? Yeah, go and boast about the superior quality of the bark on the trees.

Yeah, Fortuna and Tymbark are good but I've tried much better.

When your narrow little world is all you know, that tends to blur the picture.

No juice that has been concentrated then had water, preservatives, extra sugar and so on thrown into it can't be as good as real juice with nothing added or taken away.

Gravel from where I live is some of the best. Laid down by a prehistoric ancestor of the Thames, full of flinty goodness.

I'd go for Portuguese cork oak for that. Leszczyna pospolita loses its rough bark as it gets older and can be found all across northern Europe.

I'll drink some good non-Polish juice to that, Osio³. Some of the Tymbark is great I must say. The peach one is thirst-quenching for sure.

Better than the apple mint, for sure. At the blood donor clinic, I always opt for their version of the peach juice. Oh and free cookies too.

I'd love a Tymbark tap/faucet. Fresh and light juice for the summer, free flowing.

I love black currant juice, and was puzzled about why I couldn't find it in the United States. I could find black currant syrup for pancakes or sometimes black currant jam, the jam clearly coming from Europe. Just this past week I saw it in local, very high end, supermarket. From going to the web site: www.currantC.com, I now know why I couldn't find it in the United States. Little did I know that black currants had been banned in the United States for nearly 100 years. People in Poland will be amazed to know I paid the equivalent of 13 PLN for 0.5 liter. I think that would cost me about 2 PLN in Poland!

Growing it was banned for a long time as it was said to spread disease (plant diseases). Lots of plant diseases have unlikely hosts. Wheat rust living on Mahonia being an example. I actually planted four blackcurrant bushes in my front garden last week. I think I'll be using them for jelly rather than juice. Good on toast or poultry, although not at the same time.

there are multitudes of juice makes and types in Poland
as far as I can remember it was not the case in England
can you get carrot varieties in Tescos for example?
here they are ubiquitous

As long as it's not made from concentrate I am happy, and no extra sugar added.

im discovering herbapols sirups ( owocowa spizarnia) . you can thin em down with water ( summer version) or add into the tea ( winter version) or make a mad dog shot ( party version (; ).

havent tried em all yet but from what i already had raspberry-linden mix is my favorite. with tea and slice of lemon makes perfect match. especially for the cold winter nights. cola flavored is one ugly piece of s...irup.
