I have a long time Polish friend that is in a rehab hospital. He says the food is terrible. Any suggestions on a good well known Polish Comfort food that I might be able to make for him? Any suggestions or recipes?

Paczki Polish doughnuts are sure to lift his spirits. If you can't find authentic ones, jelly doughnuts are the next best thing.

A sincere thanks PF, for putting up with me FIVE terrific years, muah!

Pierogi, goł±bki, bigos, nale¶niki, kiełbasa, barszcz, kapu¶niak, krupnik, grochówka, pomidorówka, zupa grzybowa, żur....are but a few examples of what most Diaspora Poles regard as comfort foods.

To two people fully agree on which comfort foods are best. I personally have always enjoyed zacierki na mleku (flour noodles cooked in hot milk), the simpelst of dishes which my late gran used to prepare.
