Recipe for my mothers birthday?

Hi, it's my mums birthday on Monday and we work with many Polish people so we'd like to make something in to work for everyone to celebrate. Can anyone give me some simple recipe ideas for Polish bread or cakes or something else nice?

But if she isn't Polish then how will she be able to know what is popular and what isn't.......


McCoys post <shown in my previous post> has lots of really good links so I think Selra won't need to google. It's a really nice gesture I think, to want to bake something for their Polish workmates.

Yep LOL :)

But, you can get loads of sites showing Americanised versions etc etc and if you don't know anything about Polish food the lists can be endless.

Surely, PF can help ? That's why we have a Polish food and drink section ?
