Greetings,

The other day, a man said "Mordo ty moja" to me and I don't know what it means. I would ask him, but usually I have to wade through about 20 jokes to get to one serious answer. I was hoping I'd have better luck here. So what does it mean? And should I be offended? :P

Thank you in advance,

~T

Literally: my (dear, old) mug. Humorously endearing expression something like saying: You old son of a gun (when seeing someone after a longish break). It was made popular in Poland during the PO-PiS campaign feuds, where it was used in a TV camapign spot to suggest that the opposing party was in cahoots with gangters. Now it has an amusing but not offensive ring to it.
