Foodie Translation Help - "Skwareczkami."

Hey everybody, happy holidays.
I recently had a meal at Polania in Hamtramck, MI, and had a bread spread that was called "Smalec ze Skwareczkami," and was wondering what the closest literal english translation was for "Skwareczkami."

Skwareczki are tiny pieces of fried bacon, like bacon bits.

How is that broken phonetically? We have tried looking it up in a dictionary and had no success.

Because in the dictionary you have to look under "skwarek".
To say skwareczki is: skfa-retch-key

They're lardons - yes, it's French, I know :)

Skwareczki is the diminutive form of skwarki. It's a horrible habit the Poles have.

"Skwarka" ? I have been always using this word in masculine form "skwarek" :P you see, being Polish doesn't mean that you know everything about this language :P

Yes, you are right, it is the same word but skwarka is the genitive singular of the word skwarek. It means scratchings but that has already been touched on above.
