Buzzkillla, as McCoy and Polonius3 posted, there are two correct ways of saying this. To say that A is B, you either say "A to B" or "A jest B*" where * is the ending for the instrumental case, which is either -em, -iem or -±.

so I can put "rodzina to zyc±"? Shorter it is, the less it will be, but also want to be correct

No you can't, but you can use “Życie to rodzina” (life is family) or “Życie rodzinne” (Family life) or “Życie i Rodzina" (Life and Familly) or "Życie z rodzin±" (Life with familly), why not just live a little and make it “Moim życiem jest rodzina”. (My life is family).

"rodzina to życie" can be translated as "family means life" or "family, that's life"
and "rodzina jest życiem" - family is a life

thankyou for all the suggestions and translations, Piorun and krysia!

If you want a real Polish saying (as opposed to an English sentiment translated too literally into Polish) what about:

grunt to rodzina

(literally: 'the main thing is family or 'family is fundamental'). Any Polish speaker should know this expression while 'rodzina to życie' sounds .... weird and 'rodzina jest życiem' sounds even weirder (to me, though I'm not a native speaker)

thats true thanks for the input, although grunt to english people might look weird but i like it.

Poles don't usually use 'życie' and 'rodzina' in the same sentence...

Summary:

They think that these expressions don't sound natural (even if they are correct).

The question is if you want something that is just correct, or something that also sounds natural.
