This is a folk craft whereby a picture is painted on a pane of glassd and framed painted side in. Glass painting, painting on glass, reverse glass painting...any better suggestions?

Reverse glass painting.

I suppose it's tricky because you have to paint the top layer first rather than last as with normal painting.

What about church windows. Malowanie na szkle sounds more like the painting on glass windows rather than on fine glass wear in the home.
