Looking for help and advice.....

how would you say that you will miss someone, in an affectionate way, but not in an amorous way. More like brother/sister than husband/wife.

Would it be -

1)Tesknie za toba ( which I think is more kind of husband to wife).
or
2)Brak mi Ciebie
3)Brakowalo mi Ciebie

Or is there any difference ?

2)Brak mi Ciebie
3)Brakowalo mi Ciebie

It means exactly the same first is present tense second one is past tense. And I'd say "Brakowało mi Ciebie" (I missed you) sounds best, that's something you can tell your good friend after adding lad at the end.
