"kopyto za kopytem.... :D ech, jak dobrze.. :)" What would that mean literaly in english, and what emotion might I be trying to express if any. Is it a metaphor ?

Literally: "hoof behind a hoof, eh, how good [implied: how good it is or how good I have it]" These are lyrics to a folk / camping song about a happy horse-buggy driver, expressing a joy of life or some such. My attempt at rhyming translation: "Hoof behind a hoof, My buggy, the old horse pulls, On the buggy sits old me, Playing this here tune. Oh, how good I have here, Don't need to walk anywhere" "Kopyto za kopytem Stary koń ciągnie brykę A na bryce siedzę ja Melodyjkę taką gram O jak dobrze mi jak dobrze Ze nie muszę dalej pieszo iść"
