Dear members hi!
can some one please help me translating this SoP to Polish? I need it for a university in Poland
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Getting PhD is not a goal, rather an opportunity. I strongly believe this statement. And this very first sentence can also define my points of view for choosing the Krakow Academy of Music to study in.
I've lived whole of my life here, in Iran; a place I've grown up, loved classical music and, at a point, embarked on learning and pursuing it up to the highest possible.
Getting BSc.(Eng) in Mechanical Engineering and BA in Music as dual degree, MMus in composition from Art University of --- [the only university which offers graduate program in music in my country] and teaching music somewhere includes where I've graduated from, did not affect or retaliate my enthusiasm to learn more!
As a general fact, the classical music belongs to Europe and one can't live far from and learn what's going on it. So, although I've graduated in highest possible degree offers in composition in Iran and unsurprisingly have a good job regarding my current education, I've decided to come to Europe for further studies. I've searched through many universities in the world offers higher educations in composition with two main criteria in mind; First, the performance opportunities and other encouragements for composers and Second, the overall studying conditions especially for international students. Since I believe, condition is the general key to creation.
The reason for choosing Poland as a homeland for further studies isn't a single one. As two great ancient empires and civilizations, both Iran and Poland have many common cultural and influential analogousness, I'll feel home in such a society. Also in Poland; as some sort of beating cultural heart of the entire Europe, there are possibilities to meet and contact with so many influential people who live or travel to Poland; including many artists, thinkers and musicians. There are also some great orchestras and other music related communities. I've enjoyed a lot, when I went to Ukraine for premiering my first concerto; Concerto for piano and orchestra- played by --- and conducted by ---. Different cultural experiences bring to us different points of view.
As a teacher and lecturer, I know the importance of working with great and renowned professors and instructors, who love their profession. I've contacted Mr. ---; head of composition department of the Krakow academy of Music and have inquired him about some of my compositions. His responds not only encouraged me a lot, but also made me more interest in the conservatoire than before.
My goals are to achieve more knowledge than before. As I like to write huge orchestral piece that require constant contacts with performers and conductors, this is also essential to learn from professors that have written such works before. One of my recent works that is the grand prize winner of 24th International --- Music Festival, couldn't premier in Iran yet due to lack of professionals (conductors, performers and ensembles) to premier such kind of works.
I also have some great experiences in music business that I hope to expand them in Poland as well; Experience in engraving and music calligraphy, preparing (music) books for printing, compositions for games and theater and of course teaching music professionally.

Thanks for considerations

P.S: I've used --- for some personal information not directly important in the translation e.g. names

If you know English so well why don't you "see" that the author/poster is from IRAN not "some polish guy"!

Zrobić doktorat nie jest celem, to skorzystanie z istniejącej możliwości. Głęboko wierzę w to stwierdzenie.
