How to say" I'm very sorry I forgot to pay my tab at your store before I left. I had a family emergency in America and left Poland very quick. I'm very sorry Mrs." Can someone please help me translate this to plish

why America is commonly reffered to the United States of America?

for me America is a part of the world consisting of two continents...

How to say "I'm the big American guy if you forgot who i am. I have put $5 Pln in the card to pay for my tab I forgot to pay. Again I'm very very sorry it was not intentional that I didn't pay my tab and I hope you can forgive me. Sincerely "
