Translation of letter to a Polish girl I like.

I want to translate a letter to polish for a girl i like and my polish lessons haven't started yet but i wanted to write her this letter about how i feel about her.

I want to write to tell you how i feel and some things about me.

Talking to you via Maciej is akward for the both of us and really doesn't work.
You asked me why i am learning polish and the answer is because of you and my desire to talk to you and know more about you.

I really enjoyed our time together in Gdansk and spending time with you.
Just being around you makes me happy and you have a energy that is really intoxicating to me.

But i was frustated that all our communicating went via Maciej and that i never could talk to you alone and not with our friends around.


I talked with Maciej this sunday and he kept asking me again,

If i have thought about settling down and have children and kept pushing this subject and really wanted a answer.

I told him i didn't thought so far ahead about my life and i told him i take life as it comes and told him to stop about it.

But i have thought about it.

When i see Maciej with his Family,I can really see that he is happy and that there is someone he loves waiting for him and his two children especially Aluna how cute she is and enjoying the family life.

This is something i haven't told Maciej but sometimes i feel sad that i don't have this and think so much about it.


I see life as a road on which one travels and at certain crossroads you can make decisions about you're life and which direction you are going to go.

I feel i'm standing on a crossroad and there are some decisions i have to take and how to continue with my life.
You have changed something in my life and you gave me feeling of happiness.

I am confused about my feelings about you and have to sort them out,but when i saw you sitting there sunday i really wanted just listen to you talk all night.

I think you're a beautiful and when i look in your eyes i feel lost again and i really long to see you again.


There, I have said it. I can rest now. And as I dream,I will dream of you in my heart.

Rozmowa za pośrednictwem Macieja jest trudna dla każdego z nas i zazwyczaj nie przebiega tak jakbyśmy chcieli. Spytałaś mnie dlaczego uczę się języka polskiego - uczę się, ponieważ pragnę z tobą porozmawiać i lepiej cię poznać.

Czas, który spędziliśmy razem w Gdańsku był naprawdę wspaniały. Samo przebywanie w twoim towarzystwie czyni mnie szczęśliwym i daje energię, która mnie odurza.

Ale byłem sfrustrowany, że nasze rozmowy odbywały się z udziałem Macieja i nigdy nie mogłem porozmawiać z tobą na osobności, bez twoich porzyjaciół.

Rozmawiałem z Maciejem w niedzielę i on znowu mnie pytał czy myślałem o ustatkowaniu się, założeniu rodziny. Naciskał na mnie żebym w końcu odpowiedział.

Powiedziałem, że nie rozważałem mojego życia w przyszłości i powiedziałem mu, że biorę życie takim jest i żeby przestał mnie już o to wypytywać.

Ale myślałem o tobie.

Kiedy widze Macieja z rodziną, naprawdę widzę, że jest szczęśliwy mając kogoś kogo kocha i czeka na niego, a jego dwójka dzieci, zwłaszcza Aluna, jaka ona śliczna i jak wzbogaca życie rodzinne.

Nie powiedziałem tego Maciejowi, ale czasem czuję się smutny, że nie mam tego i myślę o tym cały czas.

Widzę życie jako drogę na której napotykasz skrzyżowania - decyzje od których zależy w którą stronę podążysz.

Czuję się jakbym stał na rozstaju dróg i są przede mną decyzje które muszę podjąć aby ruszyć dalej. Zmieniłaś coś w moim życiu, dałaś mi uczucie bycia szczęśliwym.

Nie jestem pewien swoich uczuć do ciebie i muszę je uporządkować, ale kiedy zobaczyłem cie siedzącą w niedzielę naprawdę chciałem tylko słuchać twojego głosu przez całą noc.

Jesteś piękna a kiedy patrzę Ci w oczy czuję się znów zagubiony i tęsknię żeby ponownie cię zobaczyć.


Udało mi się to powiedzieć. Mogę teraz odpocząć. A kiedy będę śnił, będę śnił o tobie w moim sercu.

yeah one.. i've been here long enough that i don't want to translate most of this garbage anymore.. too personal.. too stalkish.. you name it.. for christ's sake, learn the language or figure something else out..

I think in a way it will look odd because as they know each other, he/she will wonder from where they have copied out this work because it is obviously not original.

yup and like i said, too personal and too weird most of the time.. i am still baffled how people who can't communicate can be "bf/gf" or whatever.. relationships need personal communication.. that's the cornerstone.. it's an uphill battle from the get go if that is not shared and relationships are hard enough when you actually speak the same language..

Thanks michal_857 for the translation.

first of she isn't my girlfriend yet and we have mutual friends so that's how we met and we have spend some time together and despite the language we still had a great time together.
She speaks a little english and understand some of the things i say.

I'm starting night classes to learn Polish in september and this will take a long time to learn to speak and write.

I know she likes me because her best friend is married to my friend and they talk alot about me and even wants to visited me.

I wrote this letter and is original
