Hello All, We will be traveling to Poland this summer. My wife's grandparents came over from Poland to the US in the 20's we think. There name is Gorka, sadly that is about all we know. Would anyone have any idea on how to possibly find some of her family there? D

You should try to find out what city they came from, otherwise szukaj wiatru w polu....

There are some 11,000 people in Poland named Górka. The largest concentration is in southern Poland in and around Kraków and the Katowice and Tarnów areas flanking it on either side. But that is not much to go on if you are hoping to track down your ancestral nest.
