Last name, Kwiatkowski, where in Poland

I am trying to locate where a person by the last name of Kwiatkowski may be from in Poland. This is a continued effort to locate this person's birth certificate. In order to facilitate this process, I would need to have a better idea of a region that this person may be from.

This will be extremely difficult to do something like this. It's the equivalent to Smith as a last name in America. Good Luck

It is always best to start with what you have and work backwards.
Did the person live in the US at all, if so, where and when?
Have you searched for immigration papers?
Did you check SSDI for the name?

What exactly do you know about this person, so that someone could help you?

My mother was a Kwiatkowska before she married my Scottish father. Her family lived in Bobrowniki nad Visła which is in the Kuyavian Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The name means flower.
