My Grandmother is getting up in age, and it has been a secret wish of hers to visit Poland before she dies. So, as part of a gift before we take her, we're trying to find out information on her family name. Is there any information on the name Lugoski? Like, what does it mean, whats its crest, etc? Any information would be much appreciated.

Lugoski probably Americanized form of “Ługowski” surname. Here is a map of Poland where this surname is common. LINK

If you know a town where she is from this might help you narrow your search down and maybe give you an idea on what part of Poland you should visit.

Crest of Ługowski family would be “Lubicz” LINK

Just because there are people with this surname that were of Polish Szlachta origins dose not necessarily mean your family was, You will have to do more research to verify this but it's a start.

Ługowski -- basic root ług~łęg (marshy field), but probably toponymic nickname from Ługów, Ługowo or Ługi (Marshville, Bogbury, Swampfield).
Ługowski used by nearly 4000 in Poland, the largest concentration (about 1600) in the Mazowsze region which incldues Warrw, Ciechanów, Radom and Siedlce.
Three separate noble lines amongst the Łzgowskis entitled to use the Junosza, Drzewica and Lubicz c-o-a.

I know she was Polish because her parents lived in Poland, were thoroughly Polish and immigrated here. I'll have to ask where they were originally from, but she said her parents lived in Krakow. I'll have to ask her more about this, but thanks so far for the help.
