I'm researching my ancestry. My grandmother moved to Canada from Poland in the early 1920s. I've searched maps online for Wolagrsbowfowska, where she's from but I can't find it. Hopefully someone on this forum can help, otherwise, I'll have to go to a public library and look at whatever detailed maps they have.

Thanks in advance!

it is probably Wola Grabowska, since the spelling you have provided looks incorrect

Hmm, I couldn't find anything so I changed the first "s" to a "z" and tried "Wolagrzbowfowska" instead.

All I got was Wola Grzybowska. It's currently a part of a Warsaw district as you can read in the article. It may have been something else before. Good luck.

it is probably Wola Grabowska,

Wola: comes first in most searches.

Grabowska Wola: comes up too

It is probably two words, not one

Thanks so much! This is a real relief, I didn't think I'd ever be able to find it.

Is there a way to do a birth records check via correspondence / email? I'd like to get a copy of my grandmother's birth records if possible.
