Did you, your Mother or Father, or perhaps someone you know of work for a time at the Holbrook District Private Hospital in 1949?
You may have known a Biruta Grantovskis who at that time was aged 22y and came from Latvia.
As a female you may have been a nurse at this hospital with Biruta or if male you may have been a friend of either or both and working in this District. You may have come to Australia under the Displaced Persons Scheme and possibly been at the Bonegilla Migrant Camp prior to Holbrook.
Holbrook is in the State of New South Wales, Australia. Bonegilla was about 100kms from Holbrook.
Please write if you feel you may have any knowledge of Poles having resided in these areas of Australia during this period.
Thank you,
Bill
