Were your Grandparents married in the UK ?

You don't actually say if your Grandparents moved to the UK before or after WWII

You should be able to sort some of this out by using British Records... Naturalization Records etc.

We can't do much without dates and place names. More info, please.

My grandparents were married in India!during the end of ww2 and they then moved to somewhere in Africa (dont know where all i know it was under british control)then after the war they were allowed to move to the uk or go back to poland which was communist then i think so thay chose the uk. My grandmother ended up in India because the Russians took a load of her family and some other people from nearby villages to Siberia then to Iran then walked them towards India where they were put in a british camp. i have no idea why the russians took them with them. All my grandmother said was that the nazis were after them.any clues?

not sure how my grandfather ended up in india but he was in a camp there too american, thats where they met and married.
sorry i dont have any more info
