Hello,

I am trying to write a letter to family in Poland. I speak no Polish and have tried using internet translation sites, but they don't seem to do a very good job.

Can anyone recommend a site to use, or anyone who would be able to translate the letter if I sent it to them?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello, Dancingmartha. Welcome to PolishForums.

Send me the letter via PM or post it here and I'll try to translate it.

Hey, thanks for the welcome. I really appreciate this, I am travelling to Poland in October but haven't finalized any info with the family as they don't speak English and I don't speak Polish.
If you could translate this letter for us to send it would be fantastic.

Dear Irene and Henry,
How are you? We are fine, and hope that you are fine too. We are working hard, and it keeps us busy. It is winter here now, and cold, although not as cold as Canada. It is still very dry with little rain.
We had a lovely visit to Darwin to visit Melissa and her family. Conner is now two and growing very fast. He is a good boy and enjoys playing with his toy cars. Natasha is now living in Perth, which is very far. I am hoping to visit her in the new year.
I am very excited to be coming to visit you and travelling Europe. My friend Marie has a daughter in England who we will also be visiting on the same trip. I am looking forward to meeting my relatives and spending some days together. We are arriving in France on the sixth of October. We will sightsee there for a few days before catching a train to England, and then visiting you. We are flying from London into Szczecin airport. I hope this is close to you. We are unsure if we should catch a bus or taxi to your house. We have not booked any transport as we would like to make sure you are happy with our plans.
We were very exctied to hear about Ewa and Adam's baby Matthew. We have seen some photographs and he is beautiful. Asia is also growing very fast.
I hope this gets to you quickly. Is there any way we can email you, or contact you another way?
Hope to hear from you soon, Kristina.

I hope it's not too long. Thanks again.

Kochani Ireno i Henryku,
Co u Was słychać? U nas wszystko w porządku i mamy nadzieję, że u Was też.
Przylatujemy do Francji szóstego października. Przez parę dni pozwiedzamy Francję a później złapiemy pociąg do Anglii i odwiedzimy Was. Przylecimy z Londynu do Szczecina.
Mam nadzieję, że ten list szybko do Was dotrze.
