What does this mean? I keep seeing it in messages between some of my Polish friends on facebook. It usually appears at the end, sometimes with a :).

it's short for pozdrowienia/pozdrawiam. It means greetings/cheers.

When I first saw the short version I thought that it might be short for pizda but then, what about the 'r'?
