I found some time ago somewhere on the net, that you can find a sentence in Polish in last part of the Star Wars series, Return of the Jedi.

After watching it, I found something that really, really sounds like Polish!
In the beginning of the movie, when C3PO and R2D2 are walking to Jabba's palace, when C3PO is knocking to the door (or that huge gate) he's asking then something that sounds like:

Chee too mishkah Jabba du Hat?
(czy tu mieszka Jabba the Hut)

funny, isn't it?
Just wanted to share this with ye :)

What would "czy tu mieszka Jabba the Hut" mean, if translated into English?

HAHAHAHA....omfg....that's great. I fast forwarded the entire movie just to see that part. Was worth it. It's soooo obvious now that you've pointed it out. Damn...can't believe I never caught that.

:]

Good find.

YESS! Even I (non-native-Polish speaker) noticed it while seeing the film again recently.
and funny too, that "żaba" means "frog", often associated with how Jabba looks like ;-)

i always associated him more with a dung pile... but yeah, phnetically jabba is close to żaba
<<< never noticed that. Now I wonder if the first film with Han talking to the guy trying to kill him might have PL in it too... he did work for Jabba...

I am not just saying this for any kind of silly reason but I recently watched this and I thought the exact same thing.

The future is bright, the future is Polish.
