Sadly, number of replies show just how little interest there is in real heroes!

Shameful how easily the heroic deeds of the few are forgotten by the many:-(

This is where the Americans have got it right. They pay their respects much more openly than we do :)

A little more appreciation from certain Brits wouldn't go amiss. Without American help, we'd've been toast.
