The Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, colloquially named after Soviet foreign minister Vyacheslav Molotov and German foreign minister Joachim von Ribbentrop

In addition to stipulations of non-aggression, the treaty included a secret protocol dividing the independent countries of Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Romania into Nazi and Soviet spheres of influence, anticipating "territorial and political rearrangements" of these countries' territories. All of these states were subsequently invaded, occupied, or forced to cede territory by Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, or both.

Rendezvous. David Low's cartoon, published in the Evening Standard on 20 September 1939, shows Hitler greeting Stalin, following their joint invasion of Poland, with the words, "The scum of the earth, I believe?". To which Stalin replies, "The bloody assassin of the workers, I presume?"

Without russia germany would lose the war,
Poles would be able to hold of the germans but if we wouldnt,
Poles were planning on escaping to the Romanian boarder get some Romanian troops [Romania wanted to be on Polands side until Germany invaded them they allied with them to avoid war]and start a counter attack from there.

KATYN MASSACRE execution of Polish officers
On 17 September 1939, in violation of the Polish-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact, the Red Army invaded the territory of Poland from the east. In the wake of the Red Army's quick advance, which met little resistance, between 250,000 and 454,700 Polish soldiers had become prisoners and were interned by the Soviets. On 5 March 1940, pursuant to a note to Joseph Stalin from Lavrenty Beria, the members of the Soviet Politburo — Stalin, Vyacheslav Molotov, Lazar Kaganovich, Mikhail Kalinin, Kliment Voroshilov and Anastas Mikoyan; signed an order to execute 25,700 Polish "nationalists and counterrevolutionaries"

Prince,

I am not sure if there is a photo of Molotov after he died, but there is lovely photo of von Ribbentrop after he was hanged by the IMT in '46... maybe you can post that one. Call it "justice".

Without russia there wouldn't be any war. At the very least not in 1939.

Henry i heard some where that the russians went to court saying that they are not responsoble for Katyn and they won the case, is this true??

But even our justice wont replace the 25,700 killed
