What Krakow and Detroit, Michigan have in common? (Tadeusz Kościuszko)

Just a little bit of historical trivia.

The answer is Tadeusz Kościuszko.

Than you should include St. Petersburg as well. There he was imprisoned in Petropavlovsk castle.

- Detroit MI has more similarities with certain cities in central Africa than with Krakow. The vast majority of americans doesnt know that West Point academy was created by Kosciuszko... We have NOTHING IN COMMON.

nope, you seem to not know either. west point academy started in 1802 while kościuszko was back in PL and not usa. however he did oversee the building of the garrison there in 1778. west point is also in NY not MI.

the other part of your statement is also racist as hell. there is no need for that.

Its duplicate was also erected in Detroit, Michigan in 1978, as a gift from the people of Kraków, in celebration of the United States Bicentennial
