Slavs vs Germanics: Battle of the centuries

That's not beer, that's coloured water. Go further south and have some real stuff with over 10% alcohol...

O.K.Now I will write what is better in Germany
1.Roads.Autobahnen vs rasputnica.Obvious superiority of the Autobahnen
2.Trains.German trains are noiseless and fast.PKP is like the old women selling their tickets
3.Houses.Germanic houses are very well built and have super how do you say that?,insulation?not to let any heat out,you are in the house and you don't hear any noise from the street.Also german architecture though somewhat monotonous is impressive and very precise
4.Elevators,electrical systems,all infrastructure is vastly superior in BRD
5.Ergonomie,exploitation of space,another sector Germans expell
6.Patiency.How can they be so patient?
7.That provincial towns look often even better than central cities.Another peculiar characteristic of Germany
8.Hidden resources.They are there but you don't see them
9.Cars.I didn't see many slavic cars in Germany.On the contrary I saw quite a few germanic cars in slavic countries
10.Hotels.Much better in Germany for the same amount of money.In general infrastructure in Germany is vastly superior but this happens also among Germany and all its neighbours since Germany is unique
11.Railway stations

Every country has its pros and cons. That's why it is so interesting to see and experience as many as you can. At least that's what I try.

German food, Polish food and Dutch food doesn't differ much: basically it's potatoes, meat and vegetables. Only difference may be that Poles use a hint more sour in their foods (gherkins, sweet/sour cucumber salad -very common in Holland too- and so on).

What I like as Polish food: Golobki (do I write that right?), Dzurek, Tomatosoup
What I like as German food: Currywurst, Jägerschnitzel, Bratwurst

But both don't compare up to Dutch specialities: salted herring on a white bun with raw onions and pickles, Bami, Nasi, Hutspot or Rode Kool met Hachee and of course a fricandel speciaal and patatje oorlog met uitjes.

translation: Bami: fried noodles with vegetables, meat and certain spices, served with sweet/sour vegetable pickles coloured with saffran, chicken skewers with peanut sauce, ketjap -a certain soy sauce, yes, the word ketchup is derived from that- and seroendeng, a dry mix of cocunut powder, peanuts, chillis, ketjap and sugar. You could add a sweet and sour tomato sauce as well, but that's not mandatory.

Nasi: pretty much the same as Bami, only with rice instead of noodles.

Hutspot: mashed potatoes mixed with diced carrots and onions. The carrots and onions get cooked in the same pan together with the potatoes and then mashed together.

Rode Kool = Red Cabbage: deliciously cooked in vinegar and some sugar, sometimes some pieces of apple go in it as well.

Hachee = a stew of beef, onions, vinegar, bay leaves, pepper, salt and some mace. Takes up to 4 hours to prepare.

Fricandel speciaal: an about 20 cm long saucage made according to a secret recipe, which receives an incision over the entire length before deepfrying. Once done, the saucage will have a nice open gutter in which Dutch mayonnaise (frietsauce - chip-sauce), ketchup or curryketchup and raw onions are put. Gorgeous :)

Patatje Oorlog: chips or french fries with peanut sauce, Dutch mayonnaise and onions.

Standard Dutch food is the same as Polish food. We only make it a little bit better :)

it goes for other nationalities as well. For some reason one needs to state their ethnic background because it is easier for other posters to put people in boxes.

I don't see any other reason besides the fact that most people like the stereotypes.
Black & white thinking comes to mind, but things come up in heated discussions and people are forced to take sides, which is not a bad thing at all. I was just making an observation:)

Italians? What's that? :)) I meant the Northern, Western and Central European kitchens. Generally Poland, Germany and Holland - those kitchens are highly comparable.

Ehm, my significant other is currently a German person, and her predecestrix was a Slavic person, right now I prefer the German one, but that could change in the future :)

But seriously: I always take person per person, I had a bad experience with a Polish chickadee and now I have a good experience with a German chickadee. Next one could be Polish again, who knows. I like German and I like Slavic. So I don't really have a preference in this case.

Mediteranean cuisine is probably superior.(and because of the ingredients).

I recently read Hitler's notes by Bormann.Hitler seemed to understand Czechs extremely well and Poles quite well but he had a very obsolete and distorted view about the Russians.He obviously underestimated them.
