1. Stalin wont be proclaimed saint by the ROC. 2. Neither silly polls or Communist Party are representative for the state or public opinion. 3. Soviet army rolled over Poland because they had issue with Nazi Germany and appetite to extend its sphere of influences. Nothing more. 4. Stalin should be condemned by every sane person, because he was a mass murdered.

We would have had to come trough Germany to get to you. We hardly had time to react as they got through Poland pretty quickly to be honest. I dislike very much the people who moan and say 'he sold us out' LOOK AT IT FROM THE LOGICAL, PHYSICAL POINT OF VIEW, what could we have done militeraly to help you in the time we had, if you had held them off for more than a few days, lol, we may have made it to Poland in time to help you out.

This was the obvious thing to do for anyone who had half a brain and cared about eastern europe. Churchil however was having none of it, he was obsessed with military glory and what he really wanted above all was to achieve personal glory by defeating the nazis. He also systematically ignored numerous messages coming from dissidents from within the Nazis camp who could have toppled the regime with little help. This could have ended the war a lot earlier with muss less casualties. All this is well documented. A forum thread isn't the right venue to discuss this. I suggest you google it out as much as u can. Formally, I'm not Russian. My mother's branch is from Lithuania, my father's from "Pridon'e". Who am I? I'm Russian. Why?
