I disagree. If the UK supports gay rights he has NOT overstepped the boundries, as it was indicated, therefore Polish accusation/comment is unfounded.

Er...you are misquoting me, the text you attribute to me isn't mine.....

You are absolutely right I'm trolling.

And isn't a certain president reputed to be queer?

His twin brother. And a certain Zbigniew Z.

why this fascination with other people sexual practices? Unless it becomes a criminal matter, work harder at applying your imagination to other thoughts.

A certain type of heterosexual often has strong views on homosexuality. Those of us who are gay just get on with life.

There is a political issue though, within the gay community, about fellow homosexuals like Jarosław Kaczyński, who are in politics, are gay (according to sources including Wałęsa), but actively work against the rest of us. In his case, certain of his alleged personal habits before he became premier might have led him to be arrested under laws he upheld while in office.

It isn't so much about the sexuality. More about ensuring equal treatment under the law for all human beings.

My personal theory is that men think about sex so often that they can't help themselves but to keep imagining sex even when they run accross homosexuals. That's why they get so freaked out by them! LOL

As far as equal treatment - Poland has ways to go.

But, I have to admit, I have some views against gays as well. For example, I think gay marriage should be legal but it should have a different name. Word 'marriage' should be reserved for a union between man and a woman. Can't help it...

There's something in that! Gays do it too but in reverse.

I don't know, jonni... I don't think gays get "freaked out" and phobic about straight men.
Nevermind. I get it.

well, it is an easy target, but if that what makes you happy, then, by all means, go crazy.

On the other hand, I don't think that such behavior will benefit homosexuals in general, which you don't seem to be overly concerned with.

I though that being a homosexual was about having an intimate/romantic/commited relationship with the same sex partner. Trying to wind up homophobes will only add more fuel to the already "strained" relationship between the hetero and the homo people in Poland.
I believe that the change will slowly come once the law allowing homosexuals the same rights is implemented by the Polish government. Time will tell.

"British ambassador to Poland accused of “ignorance” for supporting gay rights "
Well if his mission was to make it better for the homosexual - he failed
If his mission was to make the relations better between UK - Poland - he failed
If his mission was to relax and do something private like meeting some people giving them leaflets then - sucess!
