The Impact of Iranian Culture and Language in Poland

Hello,

I just read this article and I wanted to ask you your opinion about it. I don't know Poland enough to know if it's partially, completely wrong, or true. After my first reaction of "that's ridiculous" as Persia is an old and respected civilization I wondered if there is any truth behind it.

Most of it is wrong. But it's true that a tribe of Sarmatians were assimilated by Poles and the Polish nobility liked to brag about thier Sarmatian roots and culture.

I quoted this from the webpage "9. Adam Miskovich (1978 - 1855), a famous Polish poet, writer, dramatist and politician was born in Navagrad. In childhood and still young, his native Poland was not independent. After graduating from the Vilta University in 1989, he jointed anti-government revolutionary organizations but was detained, jailed and exiled."

WTF IS THAT?!
I think somebody was drunk while writing it!
