Made in Poland products?

Hello To everyone. I was wondering how many of you have seen a Made in poland product. On a store shelf.
I have seen a few and its always Glass or a dinner plate. I have never seen anything else ever in any of the stores here in the USA. Or californa.

So Im curious . Please post what you have seen and where. What store and what state...

I've see jam. I have not been looking for anything else since I usually shop at the Polish grocery store but I would bet there is more. In Canada.

Ive seen food at polish Grocery stores. Like mineral water. and liqure.
I also have been to a polish furniture store. and that was different.
Ive seen a lot of polish Glass at Ikea, and even at walmart.
Ive seen pots and pans in Target.

But i'm wondering in respect to Textile. Or in regards to Knives, or Plastic goods.
Electrical prouducts being sold here in the USA. Leather goods. Office or school products.
Hardware. Building supplies.....

In the state of Wisconsin, I have seen leather sandals made in Poland in a shoe store. Really good quality.
I've seen crystal vases and pottery in a local True Value Hardware store and at a discount store.
In a large grocery store- Woodman's in Appleton - I have seen Polish marinated mushrooms, jams, cookies and soups in the international section.

thats good thats what I mean . Some good polish products..

I have had a pair of sandals from poland my Aunt got for me when she was visiting there , theren5 years old and still holding together.

Every other pair I have ever bought Fall apart the first or second year.

So there are good polish products here ..
I love it.

Now how do I get to wisconsin

There's nothing in Wisconsin. Chicago has all the Polish goods. Milwaukee has some Polish stores too, but not as many. There are a lot of german and scandinavian people too.

I think there might be a number, but there's nothing in Wisconsin, unless you're a hunter and a fisherman. That's what most guys do around here. Well, besides watching football, drinking budweiser, eating pizzas and farting.
Now would not be a good time to come to Wisconsin. It's the deer gun-hunting season. Every year there are accidental shootings or heart-attacks because someone saw a thirty-point buck!!!

You can find lots of Polish sweets in the stores (especially chocolate or cookies) + lots of pickles and marinated stuff.

When I was in California I stopped at the gas station and while waiting in line I picked up "sezamki" and guess where they were made? I bought some. I believe it was Santa Ana, anyway it was next to the famous road 101 or something like that...

IN UK -I saw polish ham -in small tins-
sauerkrout, kompots-of cherries and blackberries....I am not so sure what people do with it in England I think that put fruit on the top of cakes.

And...sesame snaps....in Julian Graves shops

There is a new "sklep" opened in our town. great I thought, but when i bought some food items they were very second grade. Both looked well enough but in sealed packs, yet they didn't taste right at all, both the bacon and the ham susage had smoke flavouring and were distinctly artificial.

Ah well back to the deli store at the local market.

How do Others feel about this topic. I had recieved two porceline bowls that my
mother in law bought for me from Qvc and they were imported from poland.

when i got them, i was very impressed with the quality. Obvious that someone took
time to create it, which shows me quality and I know that many things I buy from
the store always have the Made in Korea sign on it, and it dont last .

I think America should have more Polish made items instead, Id feel better spending
my money on something that will last me longer and is made the way it should be
instead of it breaking the first week I bought it.

And the next answer to questions like "why dont you buy USA items" we do
but its mostly made in Korea, and alot of jobs are outsourced <~thats another
topic.

I think that our product are not so known , popular abroad....all Wawel, Wedel sweets....ptasie mleczko.....

I prefer them much more that sweets in UK.

I haven't been long in USa ( about 6 weeks) but i remmebr that everything was quite sweet.

Youghurts were more sweet than in Europe....

I've had Danone in Poland and it was similar. We do have a lot of companies that make crummy yogurts. I like to buy plain and blend in my own fruit.

I was laughing my ar** off when I wanted to buy a souvenir for my dad in Ireland. He's a fishing maniac so, obviously, it had to be something for fishing. To my surprise the guy in the shop I went to told me that it was hard to get anything typically Irish as they import most wobblers and other things for fishing from ...Poland. "And where does your father live?" the man asked. "Poland" I muttered and we both started laughing.
