WILL OBAMA BE GOOD FOR POLAND RELATIONS?

Looks like Barack Hussein Obama (a real Christian of course) has won the USA elections. What do you guys think? Will he be good for Polish - American relations (missile defense, Russia)? On paper McCain was more qualified but Obama won because of charisma and being telegenic.

Congratulations for Obama.

I prefered McCain because I share some values with him and I believe in American capitalism, American dream. I hope that Obama is not going to change it and is not going to make form America socialist state.

I hope he lives to walk the talk. Seriously, it's going to be okay.. Get out of Iraq, take it slow.. stop the foreclosures, etc. Obama's not superman but he'll have some genuinelly smart people helping out unlike his predecessor. Business people don't have any real place in goverment, they're two very different things.

The ironic thing is: The better off the middle class is the better the business class does in America. Obama and Biden know this.

Justice has finally been done for the American Negro population, Allelluia.
The words of "we shall overcome" have finally come true.
This new administration will be a true government of people power, unlike a Mccain government of the rich.
For those anti Obama supporters you can rest assured he will not treat white people as most other US governments treated the Black population.
I carn't wait to see white servants in the white house..lol or should it be renamed the blackhouse?

Obama`s victory would be something nice. Who said that USA can`t do anything good for Slavs?!

Slavs would now understand that USA is USA and, that they still have their Slavic world.

One day, Slavs would found that EU is EU and they would even more pledge to work togather for their Slavic world.

I will tell you why it matters. I believe Poles are more racist as a culture than many...I have said it before and I believe it. It is a country of all white people and I have friends that are not white and I see how they get treated here. Only Poles and people trying to cause problems deny it. Every foreigner here can see it is obvious. It doesn't mean Poles suck or are evil...it means they have a flaw they need to work on. The sick things posted here just perpetuate it and you should be embarrassed for your culture.

It matters because what he posted proves my point yet again if he is Polish. If he isn't he is a racist as well. But good try trying to make me the racist. Pointing out behaviors is not racism...posting fried chicken and watermelon is. No excuse.

Please how many message boards have you been a part of? Labeling an entire culture because of some thread on a message board is quite an extrapolation.

Go to some of the radically left wing websites and look as some of the hateful rhetoric written about Sarah Palin and her family.

Before Obama most people were pretty certain that they wouldnt see a Black US president in their lifetime. Things can change pretty quickly given the right circumstances.
Britain for instance is a country with a much smaller black population but we've had black police commisioners, a black archbishop, black Secretarys of State and a black head of the largest Union in the UK. A black population must be well established and have sufficient numbers to make this sort of impact after a couple of generations. Most of Europe doesnt have this so its difficult for us to say what a European would do under the same circumstances as exist in the US.

But he has much mre experience in international and national level dealings. She governs a state with less population than my home town (for a very short time) and she is not bright enough to do the big job. Even people in her own party recognize it. Only desperate hangers on still claim she was a good idea.

I have agreed before extremists on both ends are bad...to answer your charge about the blogs...but none of that makes her a good VP or presidential choice.

Re the label of cultures...my real life experience in Poland has led me to my conclusions...the Poles here just reinforce them for the most part. Not an extrapolation at all...just reality.

And what a hilariously sad comment. It always goes back and forth in cycles. Do you think that somehow frightens me or insults me? Quite clearly we DO have the keys and it would be hard to muck things up more than your boys have already done. The loyalty to a party even in the face of such massive failure of governance is sad...but not surprising.

I am quite glad the selfish votes of some 'boaters' (great term to whoever used it here first) did not have any effect. I would never presume to vote in Poland for my selfish desires but it is quite clear from comments here and what I saw that Poles with American voting rights don't feel the same.

But how will Obama deal with Russia or a threat to central Europe? Hopefully this will never happen but you never know. McCain seems more stern.

I've got a feeling that Poland,Lithuania, estonia and other countries in that region will become russian territory. Poland-SSR.
