so here you have ;) :

http://www.polskapomoc.gov.pl/Main,page,160.html

intersting projects:

Project: "Poland-Belarus Journalists' Club"

Project: "Improvement of water supply for Palestinian schools"

Project "Kogere Primary School" implemented by Simba Friends Foundation in Sega village in western Kenya co-financed through the Polish-Canadian Development Co-operation funds

"Together to Europe - students exchange programme between Poland and Ukraine" - a project of Polish Robert Shuman Foundation

Polish assistance activities in Tanzania cover the following areas:
Medical care and health protection (fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and fistula),
agriculture
access to potable water

Polish assistance activities in Angola include:
support for geological research, development of mining and crude oil processing;
fishery;
reintegration of former soldiers with the society and assistance for internal refugees;

A vast majority of countries do contribute aid to other countries, its just we dont need to tell the whole world since we've been doing it since I can remember! doesnt change anything in these places though, civil war still continues, AIDS continues to florish and they still dont have a clue about sex education, therefore pumping out kids that will only live a short period of time...things have got better since "fair trade" began, these people then have pride and earn their money instead of some do gooders going over with pampers and baby milk and few nice colour crayons!

sorry but thats a rather ignorant generalised viewpoint. As an aid/development worker I have seen many lives changed beyond belief by relatively small amounts of money. Of course there are good and bad interventions, but please dont discount all development work other than campaigning as bad. Fairtrade is great, but there is also a need for plenty of other interventions.. and yes I guess its a pretty new concept for Poland, but I am glad that at least one person wants to share it on here.

Listen you all im from africa and AIDS is huge there as we all know and many say its because they are un educated that is shittttt, its just because they are bored and have no work and now goals in life thats why they always complaining they sick and have no food but you see her sitting with 200 kids around her thats being just cruel and stupid !!!! AIDS is here to keep the human number down as any normal sickness in the wild to keep animal numbers down.....the worl is only big enough for a certain number of people, if we cure aids there will be a even worse one to come !!

how do you know where I am from? I have probably travelled to more African countries than you have and have spent 10 years working there on all kinds of development and humanitarian aid projects including HIV/AIDS interventions with UNAIDs, so actually I do know what Im talking about. If your comment is serious then you should be ashamed, maybe you should take up politics.. you would fit right in.

I don’t think I did discount all aid work, they were your words not mind. Fairtrade has been a success because of the nature of the help and guidance given and because in general people from these countries want a better life and having been shown how this is achievable they have attained it.

It must change, your children are dying due to unsanitary water supply's, lack of medicine, starvation. This should not be taking place in this day and age. No child should have to go to bed hungry.

What you have to understand is its all about Class - the difference between rich and poor in developing countries is a million miles - so you see he couldnt give a
sh!t about someone in some dirt poor village because, for one he lives in Europe and probably came from some dodgy corrupt family in Africa!

Thank you Lukasz! You should add some more projects:

"Poland for guinea pig's rights"
"Poland for planting of trees and gardens on Mars"
and whole heap of other senseless progects...the more you spend, the more means we have.

Ive just come back from Serengeti..that is really the bush.. or not actually since there are very few bushes or trees for miles. Did Rambo ever go to Africa? Last I heard he was holed up in Myanmar.

We can hope, although just noticed a headline in the paper claiming Hamas has seized much of the aid intended for Gaza, which doesn't bode well, at first glance anyway.
Will read it next time I go by there and see what the article says.

As I said, it works on both sides. Israel are blocking aid deliveries. Funny that you mentioned Hamas first.

Both sides are guilty.
