Why Polish police officers have to look like dorks....?

Very attractive and fashionable....now everybody will want to join the Police here.....Might have been better if they had got them to model uniforms that were not six sizes too big...?

No they don't, just those two did, and if you only mean the uniform then yea, the old light blue looked much better or black anti terrorism group's uniform

hehehe Nevermind, i looked at pics of those new uniforms and the do look like dorks, a cop is supposed to have that Police cap, not a baseball cap and jogging outfit, they're not gonna get no respect looking like that, they might as well just wear those anti terrorism units uniforms they look much better, looking like they will now they're really gonna get their butts kicked by the football hooligans

well, personally I think whatever is comfortable , I am sure they are packing a bullet
proof vest, you need room for that, plus all the other stuff that goes on a belt, so
flexability rather then fashion and protecting life is more important then worrying about
how stupid they might look.. I dont think they look that bad..the old uniforms are just
that - old and not geared towards saftey. you can see what/where the gun is, and all
the other items a criminal might be interested in say if hes caught and tries to run or
take a officers gun.. I think the larger clothing hides where that can be and only the
person wearing it would know what/where he packed his gun on his person.

its not stupid ,its smarter way of thinking, especially if your husband or wife is the
one protecting the area.. at this point fashion takes second place to safety

I think that on any uniform the gun is going to be on the outside....you wouldn,t want to be fumbling about trying to undo your jacket to get the gun out in a dangerous situation....

thats the only problem about this new outfit imo. on the other hand maybe policemen on this photo are too small.

The problem for me with the new garb is that I would misintepret being arrested by one of them as an attempt to sell me the Big Issue or being given a parking ticket and end up with an resisting arrest charge or being shot.

they look like a fire fighters uniform only in black...not sure about the dodgy looking hats either! ..

Why are they all so skinny and out of shape? Aren't they required to be physically fit? And why do they not wear kelvar vests?

well they might be less intimidating , and so someone who is actually doing something
wrong might be less likely to run as well.. I dont know, I really dont think they look

Although there is an element to practically and decorum in any uniform design, the designers are not trying to make a fashion statement.

Im with you mate,Police should look like what they are,or meant to be anyway, servents of the people,protect and serve and all that,not like a bunch of bleedin paramilitries. These days cops on most city streets look more like a bunch of Serbs off on a spot of ethnic cleansing :(

Oh come on, dont tell me the sight of a police officer braining an old lady with his submachinegun for crossing on the red light wouldnt make you feel warm inside.
