Polish politician Jan Maria Rokita had an argument with a stewardess on board a Lufthansa plane waiting to take off from Munich airport. The incident occurred Tuesday, when the former parliamentarian allegedly pushed aside a stewardess who had repeatedly asked him to fasten his seat belt.
After his vehement refusal to comply with the demands of the stewardess, the pilot reportedly expelled the 49-year-old.
Police escorted Rokita off the Lufthansa plane in handcuffs.

Rokita's voice as recorded with mobile:

Actually Lufthansa is anti-polish and just lost a LOT of polish clients, the things is suddenly other public people came forth claiming they've been treated badly by Luft staff as soon as they found out their passengers are Polish.

Oh pleeeeaaaaaaaaaaase....as long as you are a paying customer it's only your money you spend that counts.
"Money doesn't stink!"

Get real man! Who tells you all that crap? Maybe LOT uses a scare tactic to hold their own customers??? If they are successful with that it makes me doubt the polish IQ...

Rokita in particular is an idiot and he deserved to be cuffed but it turns out that more people would be kicked out of Lufthansa plains for silly reasons such as asking for a newspaper in a class in which it they werent entitled to one or being responded in a manner "if you dont like it you can get out" only after the staff found out they're polish.
Bratwurst Boy:
Get real man!

Bb please, the anti-polish prejudice in Germany is real, from Jugendant that will take away children of polish parents without any apparent reason to police officers who will perform a search of your vehicle or legitimate you ostensibly after they find out you're polish.

Even happened to me once.

Not what I heard, as he objected to the stewardess removing his coat from the table in business class and moving it into an economy class locker. And proceeded to become all narky about it... but hey Polish news might be wrong !!!

That might be but it stops where money is concerned and the personal of the Lufthansa is not likely to bite the hand that feeds her, it's unlogical/ungerman! :)

Now that's more like it:

Lufthansa is extending its route network in Poland by adding Rzeszów to its 2009 summer timetable. As of April 27, Lufthansa’s regional airline subsidiary Lufthansa CityLine will begin operating five flights weekly on the Frankfurt-Rzeszów route with a Bombardier CRJ-700.

Only a few months ago, Lufthansa augmented the existing connection from Munich to Poznan by increasing flights there from Frankfurt as well, giving Lufthansa passengers a choice of more than 200 weekly connections to Germany’s neighboring country.

Maybe LOT fears to lose to many customers to the Lufthansa?

Relax.
Rokita had similar problems travelling with LOT.
So even Poles are oppressing our martyr saint Jan of Cracow.

Like i said Janek is a clown, however he is a clown who's also our diplomat therefore rising some fuss was our mandatory duty, any country would do the same.

Everyone knows Rokita is "difficult", all other politicians will say the same. I think everyone in Poland realize the guy is just being him usual pain-in-the-neck self, and laughing at him all the way.

There's no contradiction.

Yes, there is widespread anti-Polish prejudice in Germany, including institutional discrimination against the Polish language in flagrant violation of EU laws.

On the other hand, Rokita has long been known as being a high maintenance prima donna who throws shit fits when he doesn't get his way.

Most people I know think his treatment was richly deserved (and a Polish voice can be heard telling him to get off the plane in the recording in question).

my favorite remix, featuring the fractured Polish of his German-Russian wife

Some remarks.

1. If we really have some issues with Germany then we should use diplomatic channels for bilateral talks first.
It would be the best solution but of course we know all the way to Brussels.
Any action based on lamentable performance of this clown will be from the very beginning a failure - take it for granted.
Lufthansa is a highly professional company and can easy prove Rokita's complains groundless.
As they really are.

2. Personally I'm deeply ashamed I was ready to accept Rokita as our "prime minister from Cracow" - I guess you remember it.

As long as his wife has German origin it is hard to accuse Rokita and his wife of Germanophobia.

Erm... no its not, read onet, many other diplomats and academics testify how Lufthansas emplyees acted racist when they found out they're dealing with Poles, however Mary¶ka is a clown and deserved to have his ass kicked.

Might be a polish problem? Lot's of little Rokitas?

I mean...are there other nationalities protesting too?

Rokita is a drama queen. Was he a victim of racism? Almost impossible to prove. LOL.

Personally I don't know - I used to fly with Lufthansa but my German is rather good and I'm not a troublemaker at all.

Okay...next time you wear a "I'm polish" sign and then you report back to PF! :)

edit: Just read the translated article and it seems the Poles in question (Rokita and the Prof) begrudge the Germans their "order". If coats are on the wrong place or the paper isn't for him to read than it seems to be the fault of the Germans if they act after the law and the "poor" Pole who disregards such laws and get's to take the consequences is of course the victim of racist german prejudices against "poor, innocent" Poles!

People, slowly it get's tiring....
Next time you better put your clothes were they belong and don't try to use things from the business class if you only have paid for economy and nobody will harass you, okay?

Nope because this racism is directed specifically at Poles, notice that even though we're polish we're all in agreement that Janek is a little clown but the fact is that most people who are at the receiving end of this prejudice do absolutely nothing ( except being Polish ) to earn it.

For example in Poland where Germans are to put it politely not well liked no policeman will pull you over because you're German, you might not be liked but you will be treated with the same kind of respect ( or lack of thereof ) afforded to any foreigner, in Germany being Polish is a straight ticket to prejudicville.

Two people who didn't follow the rules happened to be Poles but the Lufthansa is now racist against Poles?
Won't follow your logic, sorry...

And your "might not be liked" because of my nationality is what in your eyes if not racial prejudices?

What is worse? "Not to be liked" because of nationality or "thrown out" because of misbehavior?

Janek is a little bitch but for example http://wiadomosci.onet.pl/1917659,11,potraktowano_mnie_jak_rokite,item .html professor Jędrzej Krakowski describes in this article that he asked a Steward for a newspaper ( notice he did not bitch like Rokita he simply asked for a newspaper in a class that he wasnt allowed to ).

This "offended" the captain who had him thrown out of the plane once he found the newspaper requested was polish, of course Lufthansa apologized and gave the guy a 5 star hotel voucher and a free flight but the point remains.

Personally i wouldnt accept either and simply sue the racist fucks, thats our mistake here, too much bitching not enough lawsuits and publicity.

Harry you're anti-polish virtually every statement you've made is anti-polish but the mistake i really enjoyed is you using a phrase polish concentration camp, i really hope for your sake that you're not posting from Poland because if you do its going to bite you in the ass within the next few weeks :)
