Hey, well I have to do a paper for uni and I just can't find a source which tells me all the ruling coalitions/governments of Poland since 1989. I would really appreciate if someone knew a source that I can use (I need a list of which party/parties ruled from when to when). Thank you so much!

I found this before too... but it doesn't tell me any party names :(
I had no issues figuring out that the current governing parties are the PO and the PSL, but that is all I could find.
Even though I don't speak Polish if its a table with the Party names and dates of cabinets I can probably figure it out!

Thanks gumishu though!

As follows:

Government of Mazowiecki formed by Solidarnosc-ZSL-SD-PZPR

Goverment of Bielecki formed by KDL-ZCHN-PC

minority government of Olszewski formed by KPN, ZChN and some other small parties

government of Suchocka formed by UD-KLD-ZCHN and some smaller parties

SLD-PSL

AWS-UW

SLD-UP-PSL

PiS-Samoobrona RP-LPR

PO-PSL

Names changed but style of governing was always the same, I mean always pathetic.

It is interesting to see that outside the short-lived Olszewski government there hasn't been a right wing (Polish) majority yet, and thus the problems of courts, security, etc.

Do you really think the communists went away? Where did they (and their priviledged children)go?

Olszewski and his people were not rightist and this was not good government at all. All their 'fame' origin from the case with lustration (initiative of UPR!) that they definitely overplayed.

They were not communist agents like the government that replaced them, but it should be interessting how Lesser spins this one.

All their 'fame'

That government lasted six months and were replaced in a coup led by Wałęsa, Mazowicki, Tusk, Pawlak, and other communist lackeys all deathly affraid of lustration.

Let shortly analyse the case with lustration. I even tend to believe that most of those people exposed by Macierewicz had some shady past. How do you think that minority government (with media dominated by GW and similarly minded public TV) could survive trying to end political career of top opposition, including many their allies at that time (Moczulski, Chrzanowski)??

They should never inform public opinion about each every name on the list. They should secretly speak with such people and use blackmail tactic. They should say to them that they don't have desire to publish their names. In revenge they could expect that those parties would back some projects in parliament that they considered crucial. They could blackmail even president himself, threat of veto would be eliminated.

This is question of priority, whether you prefer to know who was an agent or perhaps care more about reforms that you consider absolutely necessary. I dare to say that second option would serve us better. If you both think otherwise then you should be happy because you know the names.

Anyway Olszewski had nothing interesting to offer, they highly resemble PiS, many of them joined PiS later.
