I'm cursing my lack of progress in Polish, I really would like to have understood what the broadcast which was just on TV was saying (perhaps I am being hard on myself after only a few weeks of study). Did anyone see this?

no idea. i dont even remember those innocent times when i wasnt able to understand polish.

LOL - I remember when I came here in February to see my friend and feeling like I'd never ever understand a word :)

im sure you will. i ve heard so many non natives speaking close to fluent polish. your future is bright Bev. just dont worry too much

Friend of mine who is pure Russian after 10 years in Poland is fluent in Polish.
It is really very hard to catch him doing a mispronounce. It's possible to do it :)
