PM Tusk has transferred 4th June celebrations (20th annviersaary of the overthrow of communism) from Gdańsk to Kraków in fear that protesting wokers will disrupt the festivities. Leaders of former communist bloc countreis (including Chancellor Merkel who hails from former E. Germany) have been invited, as have young people from those lands.

makes for less traffic chaos in gdansk ... i'm content (memories of bush's visit when they closed the road into town)

coincides with the fact on the 5th and 6th June there is a festival at Błonia in Krk .. nothing like a bit of a marketing ploy if ever there was one not that Krk needs it!
