TUSK'S GOVT IN MIDST OF BIGGEST CRISIS

The Tusk government is facing its biggest crisis to date that has already sent heads rolling and more top-level officials may be sacked. It involves two separate scandals -- a lobbying scandal (linked to the one-armed-bandit lobby) and a shipyard scandal. The head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau Marian Kaminski, who revealed the irregularities, is due to be sacked by Tusk. Do you think this will affect Tusk's presdiential chances next year? As of now he is the unquestioned front-runner.

His back is against the wall now. He is gonna find it difficult to find suitable replacements. Also, he should be done for unfair dismissal. What he did was a political maneuver and not a practical one.

Mods, please merge this with the thread below on spoilt brats. The one where I expressly called for a story on Tusk and NOT a new thread.

He is still a favourite (to president post) although I noticed that media started to cheer for Olechowski. However this guy is rather disliked among ordinary Poles. Kaczynski have no chance and I hope he will be eliminated from politics forever.

Soon all those clowns in parliament change constitution. They say that they get so much cash from European taxpayers and still budget deficit is greater and greater.

You mean Kaczynski? Look at Kwasniewski who was much more popular, today he is out of politics. While Kaczynski cannot even count on support from Torun, just lost support of EU-realistic voters. If his pathetic policy was aimed to hitjack voters from PO or SLD, I'm afraid they dislike him ever more. This man has no future in Polish politics, he is done.He wont be missed!
