Wałęsa for EU president?

According to Polish news portals, there has been recent talk in Poland about the possibility of proposing the candidature of Lech Wałęsa for the newly created post of EU president. What are your feelings for and against such a move? http://www.wprost.pl/ar/176659/Walesa-na-prezydenta-Unii/

Polonius3: What are your feelings for and against such a move? No, he's a very simple man without education or wordly knowledge while he's a national hero and kudos to him for all he did he should not hold any public position in EU, we'd end a laughing stock of Europe.

I heard a radio interview of Wałęsa broadcast this morning and when asked about his interest in the position he said that he is not interested in fact and that he feels politically he is a good choice for what he represents (freedom of Poland) but that he feels he is not qualified due to his lack of foreign language skills. I have to agree with him.
