Where to buy a big cactus plant in Wroclaw?

Has anyone ever seen a Cactus in Poland? Are you trying to show up your neighbors-come clean? Seriously, will it survive in Poland. Climate totally different than Arizona. Do post the outcome of your acquisition. Love to see the added landscaping.

I don't know about Wrocław, but the flower/potplant shop in Warsaw on the corner of al. Jerozolimskie/ul. Krucza has huge cactuses at a huge price. The shop by the bus stop on Nowy Świat, next to Sense has a few green monsters that wouldn't look out of place in the Little Shop of Horrors, but again expensive.

I remember seeing an absolutely giant one a while ago for 600zl. I'll probably be going past the shop tonight or tomorrow in the day, so I'll have a look in the window.

Hey just call someone in Arizona...they'll ship it to you. It might be cheaper than there....plus, it won't need much water

Love to see the added landscaping. you keep such things in big pots outside during summer (generally when the temperature does not drop below zero in the nights) and then you move them somewhere indoors where there is some light I guess - there was a big agava/sisal plant on the railway station where I live in such a pot (hmm a crate rather) on display during summers - I am no cactii expert though

My aunt lives in Rzeszow and she has a bunch of indoor cacti. I would go with those rather than an outdoor one but I dont know....

bigsav: pls can anyone tell me where i could buy a big cactus plant here in poland preferably wroclaw. The Botanical Gardens has a cactus house... you might get advice there. I've never seen/noticed a cactus over 40/50cm in any Wroclaw shops. The plant in this house has been growing merrily for more than twenty years. It's still only 30cm at most.
