I know the new Blackberry Bold 9700 is releasing in UK in early November. How long does it generally take Poland to get new phones?

buy one over internet, you could use something DHL-like to bring it to Poland.
and, btw, BB are *much* overrated. I'd goo for nokia e71, if i could choose again :~

Let's say klakak does get the BB. How would he go about arranging service for it. Is it diffficult?

I am having a friend sign-up for a Mix contract with Orange, I will link my bank account for auto payments, and they are mailing just a SIM card (which online says if you request just the SIM card and no phone, you get twice the amount of minutes and SMS each month) and I put that SIM card into an unlocked phone.
I could also just buy a SIM card for pre-paid minutes.
