Bratwurst Boy: Sumthin like this? yeah i would have a go on that, i've always wanted to use panzerschreck to wreck the oppo's tanks. I woudn't mind giving UMP a go either, apparently that was the weapon of choice throughout Blitzkrieg. After mentioning all that i've forgotten about your amazing tanks, Panzer VI or Tiger Tank, Panzer V or Panther, as well as those half tank track half wheeled vehicles, now they were the dogs when it came to troop transport!!!
frd: Well, you just need to have few people who are into fantasy or sci-fi literature, the idea grew up from table top board games. Each game usually involves a Tolkienesque world ( or something like Star Wars, or maybe a la Gibons cyberpunk.. any author out of drama genre, you name it ;) ). Each player creates his own character that fits the genre. For a fantasy Tolkien like setting it would be for example an elf or a dwarf. Creating the character usually involves rolling dice and determing his statistics such as agility, strength, wisdom and so on, they correspond to the players abilities such as swordmanship, archery or spellcasting. One of the players - that is decided earlier - is the game master, he creates some kind of a quest in his mind, with all the details - maps, enemies, locations, cities. All the other players become a team and have certain goal that they want to achieve. Game master is telling players what they see and where they can go, also plays roles of different characters that players might meet. That was a very "short" version of what RPG games are (also called pen and paper games ). :) wow if thats a short version then i would probably be amazed at the long version, i think i'll have to stick to trump cards and command and conquer :)
frd: I think it is worth playing. The game is a really "cinematic" experience, you play as a soldier from SAS or one from US Delta Force. It's called "Call of Duty : Modern Warfare" because there's also another part Call of Duty 5 : World at War, which is World War 2 again. Sounds like something i would be interested in, especially if you get to be a British soldier (SAS) Also thanks for clearing up the two different types of 'Call of Duty'
