Obtaining a Polish Birth Certificate from Australia

How do I go about helping my mum organise a copy of her birth certificate in order to renew her polish passport. She left Poland in 1981 and resides in Australia. No family available to assist

I think she needs to contact the local USC (the office dealing with such things) in a place where she was born...

Send a note to the urzad _____ (can't remember what its called - grzegorz_ will know) in poland with your mom's info. Include $20 in the envelope.
