Hi,

I am a polish girl. I am in love with an indian boy. We know each other for last 2 years and in the meantime I visited india couple of times on tourist visa as well. I love indian culture and life here.
We are planning to marry soon. I would like to know if someone has same experience here and how they manage everything and how they feel here before i decide to settle in india. One more thing i wanted to know is that is it possible to marry my boy friend when i am here on tourist visa and settle here forever because the visa expires after 6 months.

Thanks,
E.

Why do you ask this question here and not on some Indian forum?

What's the point in going to India, wanting to marry someone there
and stay there and then asking if you can do it on a Polish forum???

:)

Really? Could you re-post your first message in Polish then?

Or even send me a PM in Polish and I'll see if I can find any
info you might need.

Just checking if you're really a Polish girl or rather an Indian troll... sorry
but we've had some Indian trolls before :)

Yea i am, with the girls falling for India seeing the bollywood movies. They should understand that bollywood movies are fantasies. Im also paranoid with the Indians who find Polish girls as a gateway to Europe.

Advise to user_E
Moving to India is not a good plan
Your boy friend coming here is not also the best plan(Finding a job would be hard for him)
Move somewhere else, like U.K

Thanks king for remembering me here. I am also busy, dont get much time these days. I have to reply to number of posts of people, will do it later may be by the end of this month. Well just going through some comments.Sorry king, I am not not one of those who see that a gateway. Its just those bloody poor and **** people with less education who think that roads of europe will be paved with gold and they can be rich overnight. In europe all is not easy ,even for europeans. You really need to work very hard which I did. Ask these bloody bastards if anyone has masters or PhD in engineering, computer sciences or business administration or medicine or biosciences. Also ask them what they were doing in india? You have to be good in india first then you can be good somewhere else? They are blots in the name of indians.

Thanks for the reply. You mean fake? May be I dont know about it. Never came across anybody like that with fake qualifications , all the people i know here in europe and usa who had come from india are really doing well. But I doubt it coz its very strict in india with fake papers , straight 5 years prison sentence on complaint. So how can somebody do it? knowing it. With fake qualifications you cannot work it out anywhere. I am somebody who has taken a long path as there are no short cuts to success.
I know many of my polish batch mates also in my engineering masters at Technical University in west europe who used to work very hard like me.In those days poland was not in eu so hard work was the only way if had to live in west europe.

these are maybe indian students/workers on working visas that apply for permanent residency in australia. so, it is in australia they get found out and their application rejected.

from what she was saying they embellished their applications.

Hi E,

Nice to know that U love Indian culture.

I think ,it wont be very difficult for you to get married and settled here, but still it would be nice if you can consult some concern person with the help of your Indian Boy frind.
If really wants to marry you, he must find this out.

I have some friends in Poland, I really like Polish people. Most of the Poilsh people are soft heartened.

I have not been to poland, but know about Wroclaw from my friends, that its a nice city.

Which place you belongs to from Poland?

Listen, my advice is: Forget living in India!!! Co to za absurd? My boyfriend is also Indian (Punjabi) and I have been to Gujurat and Mumbai, but you could not pay me enough to live there. Yes, it is colorful and the outfits are very pretty, and the culture is rich, but it is also backwards and incredibly dirty. There is garbage everywhere and poverty is outrageously wide spread to the point of being mind numbing. (Czy w Polsce matki z dziecmi spia na chodnikach?) Do you really want to be there? Indians come to Poland because the prospects are better here.
Forget it! Their laws are poorly implemented and there is a very strong societal pressure to stay married even if the woman is extremely abused. Love is beautiful, but be smart. What will happen if you have children and want to leave him. Of course, no one thinks that way before they get married, but in life you need to account for every possibility. It seems to me that you are young and a dreamer.
Also, make sure that his parents will accept you, for I find Indians to be the most ignorant and racist people on Earth. My boyfriend's family will not speak to me because I am white!!! Imagine that.
So Honey I am staying put where I am. Good luck to you.

Best Regards,
Agnieszka

Really, is that why Indians are moving there to study and to set up business, oh and to find nice Polish wives who can keep them in the country? Poland also has social health care, does India? Please dont even tar Poland with the same brush as India, you lot cant get out of there quick enough and "settle" somewhere else.

Polish people work and live in most countries for a limited period of time, they have no wish to stay, they love their own country.

Yesterday night I was chatting in the net with an Indian friend (he is in Sweden now). He told me that Indian's from the core of their very hearts feel that Britain (specially England) actually rightfully belongs to them as much as any English. Therefore many of them have taken oath they they will one way or the other come to England and make it their home forever and ever.

They said that they are good in childcare, and having cute children! They will give rise to a new civilization. I await to see how this civilization will be :). Till then, ... lets wait.

And ofcourse, the true English people were defeated by the Romans whose decendants still rule and constitute the majority of todays England. I wont be surprised if something new happens sooner. By soon I mean perhaps a few hundred years... but not thousands...

Its not bad. We Poles will get many Chicken Tika masala I guess :)

Oh and about the ones who get married in Poland, as I always say, I have friends here who are wonderful people (no kidding). So I think its wickedly ignorant to just throw a comment on someones sincerety. Now if we in Europe or the West were so much sincere in relationships, our countries would not have such a devastating period when it comes to relationships and the sincerety in them (mostly).

Everyone is human. And Humanbeings are beautiful :).

Good luck ShelleyS my friend. Boy ur lucky...all that Chicken Tika masala :)!

Wrong, they didnt really mix with the Britons as for the tribal wars, trust me there were plenty of us left after the Roman empire was falling and they scurred back to their homelands. You forgot about the raiders and the French? All Europeans, so who cares.

As for your comments about Indians thinking England is there home...LOL you know what thought did!

You're too funny, you show your ignorance about our history.

What it thought do? I thought that thought was a thought and did that much unless materialised by a great spirited attempt :).

ShelleyS:

Aww... :). You love us so much. How about you give England to Poland for a year. We will also like to take the taste of Colonization :). Afterall, we are Europeans, it doesnt make a difference :).

ShelleyS:

Oh no ... :). Just I read all about it. Modern England (specially the Ruling class) contains Roman blood. And Mixed origional English blood.

Plus.. have you ever thought about it. Please dont get offended (as you should know I dont say this to offend, just to open the mind abit :).). You might just yourself be a 20XGreat Grand Daughter of an African/Hispanic/Middle Eastern Emmigrant to the UK :). Hell its not impossible ShelleyS.

Now imagine (just for the same of a good thought even) if I am 100% correct. And when you go to the immortal world, your 20X Grandparents come to greet you... what will you tell them?... How will you look into their eyes :).

It can happen. Perhaps the 20X Grandpappy loved English women... and this taste trend lasted till your dad!... and then Came You! :)

What a bollox.Actually the majority of today's England is descendant of the Normands who invaded in 1066.(This is claimed by genetics).

If they have taken this oath,it is very serious.Have they taken the oath on a cow's nipples?(Because in this case it is indeed serious).

Their children look exactly like them, sth between sh1t and vomit.

Only Romans contain roman blood. How can you be so idiot? How many do you think the Romans were and how many did emigrate to England?

There were no African,Hispanic or Middle Eastern immigrants in the UK 20 generations ago.I think you should not listen so much to yoga or pen1s phone.

Really.....

I think you have never been out of Poland, I was traveling all over the Europe, I saw lot of polish people Who moved out from Poland. When I was in Sweden last year I met lot of Polish people they said themselves that they dont get good pay, better medical service, better life in Poland. What will say for this?

As I know you have better cows wich give lot of milk...............
palmtree   Sep 27, 09, 10:29 /  #
sql_hunter You have completely misunderstood my entire argument. I never said that Polish people do not immigrate to other countries. They do and have been for ages, however, when doing so you move to a place that offers BETTER prospects, not the opposite. One moves to a place with a more developed economy, society, law, institutions, etc. In my last post I asked a question in Polish, so you might not have understood: How many mothers with children sleep on the streets of Poland because they are homeless? Well... Keep trying to find one, but it is a sad, common site in India. I saw these poor women with children everywhere. They have nothing. This is the greatest indicator of a country's development. There might not be enough work for all in Poland, but the state is stable, laws are implemented properly and equality among sexes is strongly ingrained (mostly by Communists LOL). I visited a weaving factory in India. It was so laud in there that one could not speak to the person next to him without screaming, yet none of the workers wore protective ear gear. I am sure that within months of working at the factory their hearing becomes damaged. Is this a scenario possible in Poland? First inspection, would bring fines upon the owner THE END. In India no one cares. They are happy to have jobs, any jobs.

I am not trying to put India down, like I said, there are many great things about that country, but in my opinion, the author of the main question is making a big mistake by moving there. She will be alone with no social support in a country, which she most likely cannot understand. If anything goes wrong then she is simply "******". So, all that I am saying is that she should think it through and make sure that she will be safe and that there is an exit strategy bc 50% of all marriages fail.

Yes, I have traveled out of Poland. In fact I have visited at least ten different countries on three different continents. I have seen all three oceans. So if you are covertly accusing me of ignorance then please read your own responses once again. ;-)

Yes, not all Indian men are like my boyfriend. That is, in fact, too bad because he is a wonderful human being and I love him crazily.

Yes, I am learning Punjabi as well as Indian cooking. My boyfriend's family will not speak to me because he will not enter an arranged marriage. I am white, so I am sure to divorce him one day and take away the children. All I must want is to have kids, so that he can pay me child support. And all this is based on one peace information that they have about me - my skin color. Eventually, when they did find out something about me then they started telling my boyfriend that I will leave him because I am too educated. LOL

And yes as, opposed to many Indian women (like for example my bf's mother) I would leave without looking back if a man hit me and I would make sure to hire a big dude on the next day to whoop his ass times four, so that he knows how it feels.

English have very little Roman blood. It is mostly Norman (French), Germanic and Celtic. Always verify your sources, not all books are the same- some are full of ****. LOL
