Polacy w Niemczech? Polen in Deutschland? Polish people in Germany?

kitty_the_kat   Jul 15, 2009, 10:02am /  #
So, I'm doing my concentration on the history of Poles in Germany. Are there any Poles here currently living in Germany? Or any descendants of Poles who migrated to Germany, for example Ruhr Poles? If yes, respond to this thread, PM me, or email me (email's on my profile; just click the link)

Ich studiere die Geschichte der Polen in Deutschland. Gibt es hier Polen, die jetzt in Deutschland wohnen? Oder gibt es hier Leute, die in direkter Linie von Polen, z.B. Ruhrpolen, abstammen?

P.S. Sorry for the crappy German--that's what happens when you haven't been in a German classroom for 3 months. =P

I have a German shepherd - does that count as having German connection? ;)

Bratwurst Boy   Jul 15, 2009, 02:36pm /  #
You could claim german citizenship...many russian-germans did it...they had not much more connection!

Why? Does your national team need a defender? Are Arne Friedrich and Philipp Lahm injured?

Hey - no problem, but if we play against Poland I'm going to score an own goal ;)

Lol, I heard about that. Even once read an article that claimed "Germany will soon speak Russian" ( http://news.mail.ru/politics/2289528/ ) I'm not studying the Russians, though. ;)

Interesting article, thanks!
(Once I did shove it through the google translator...)

More russian-germans than turks?
At least one good news in the end...

(I expect some Arshavins for the Mannschaft soon!) wink

Quite the contrary....I prefer Europeans, doesn't matter where from. They can come anytime..
(No...Turks aren't Europeans!)

You know, for as much as I will get called out for this on a Polish forum, I consider German women to be very attractive :) Must be the Slavic influence over the ages, ja ja :)
