Hello vivianzizi,

I am not clear what "a citizen being asked to produce their bio's", means.

Biographies? :)

Biography

It must be, I better get cracking,

Not so long ago, I was hatched....

I bet it is something really clever and easy.

Biotechnology, Biofuel, B.O.

But for citizens to produce it, it sounds like an I.D. card.

sorry, i meant DNA. i have just sent in my application for renewal of my visa as i am working on my masters at the moment and was told i would have to produce DNA for an ID card. i am worried because the government is known for misplacing sensitive information.

Well your DNA is every part of you, your hair, for example.
It doesn't matter if it is misplaced.

Although, have you seen the film "Gattaca (click here)"?.
