I say have you ever been to Glasgow? Murder capital of Europe. Where the life expectancy for men is lower than Baghdad. Lovely place i think:)

I was in London. It wasn't necessarily, dirty, but it wasn't pristine with cleanliness.. I travelled to town by the tube. I didn't feel it was dangerous per se. People stare A LOT. Apparently, I look American by my teeth and hair color? It is very expensive.. Harrod's, very nice restaurants and shows. American money is painful to exchange. I didn't like the rates-yikes. I was at a Doctor's home as a guest, so I'm not well versed in how dangerous it is living in different areas.

It depends on where you live. I quite like my suburban outpost in East London:

http://www.visitlondon.com/areas/villages/wanstead-village

But yes, it is quite expensive.

I wasnt on about where I live, Im lucky enough to live in pretty decent part of Manchester, but the statistics for rape in the UK have risen dramatically along with knife related crime, oh and people trafficing - Also how about the womans body found in a bin which had been there for 3 weeks, you have to question what kind of a country England is turning into when you read this in the news....I mean, a body decaying in a wheely bin for 3 weeks!

London has recently been voted the dirtiest and most expensive captial in Europe..Second year in a row I may add!

Dont get me wrong I love my country but I feel it's turning into a complete sh*thole...

I wouldn't say that, the stats certainly dont point towards it either... :D

I doubt that, maybe it was the accent that gave it away! We're pretty astute ya know ;)

I found it particular disturbing when a you boy is knifed by 3 black youths, all from unstable backgrounds, in an unprovoked attack in London. Uncontrolled immigration in this country is out of control, and gives a really bad name to the genuine immigrants who come here.

We have for years been a tolerant country, I really do not know how much longer this tolerance will last.

No It was not a racist attack by black people, it was an unprovoked attack by 3 black people from unstable backgrounds.

i'm pretty sure it's been 3 YEARS as she's been missing since 2006. well not in the wheelie bin for 3 years but been put in there and stayed there for a long time as the binmen refused to empty is as it was 'too heavy'

yeah everytime you read about someone being stabbed to death, the killers' names are almost always foreign and they are of black or asian descent...

England, Dirty, Expensive and a dangerous place to live?

Is this about the women? Are they that dangerous? ;)

I have lived in London, several times, great place, wouldn't want to live there if you know what I mean, if you know yourself and the way about others, your grand, just wake up one morning 60 years later wondering what happened, that's the reason.
I used to live in Hackney and cycle everyday to work in Brixton. It isn't that far.
I have a lot of good friends in Hackney, salt of the earth if you know them, if you don't well that is another story.
I think London is a different country to the rest of England.

I have spent some time in other parts of England, working.
I prefer London, people from the rest of England are different.
I even went to Manchester when i was about 12, on a school trip, the people were very friendly.

Not everywhere, for sure.
I have been to other places that hated "scum bag Paddies".
There were very few foreigners, like your self and all your problems were your own.
Or am i going off topic now? should I be witch hunting?.

Ok, back on topic, those bloody Irish and Spanish coming here, taking our women, taking our jobs!, it ain't right you hear! it ain't right!.
Or has it not struck anyone else that this farce of a thread is about the "foreigners" in England and that the two perpetrators are of "foreign" decent?.
Oh sorry, was this meant to be a natural progression on the fibre of "your" country being brought to it's knees by non-desirable non whites?.

I used to live in Greenwich, great place, full of people from far east Asia.

I mean it's predictable, as so many threads descend into racism and BS..:)

Okay, then we must identify why england has become dirty, expensive and a dangerous palce to live. Why do you think this, if indeed you do and indeed it has?

Why do you Lexi ask niejestemcapita this question not the original poster?.
It is after all her words, her thread, her "country".

there are definitely some rough areas in England, but don't places like that exist in every country? Southern England seems to be pretty nice!

Her husband was a German national. The vast majority of the names that come up in the news are certainly not English., but there are a considerable amount that are English, my point is we are spirling out of control, low life Brits and low life foreigners....

SeanBM:

Maybe you visited the Irish centre? You will find that we have a large Irish community in Manc so Irish people are the "norm" and there are 1,000s of us who have Irish surnames :)

Have you quite finished? I didnt even mention foreigners in my initial post. As for the Irish Ive never considered them foreign. My point was about England and how it's a country in decline, not just blacks or asians but white scum...you made an assumption which was completely wrong.

As for those of you who dont think England is dirty, Ive travelled enough to see how other European countries look and we are filthy in comparison and should be ashamed!
