Two English men have been fined 600 zl by a court in Poland for pigeon tossing. The pigeons fell to the ground breaking their wings.

Tossers

Just another story about tourists who think they can behave like idiots in Poland.
Good to see they were convicted.

Pigeons are nasty I wouldnt touch one, we call them sky rats

There is this Pigeonman that lives by the lake and when you see him there are about 20 pigeons just crawling all over him.

Didn't fine them enough if you ask me, a short jail sentence would've been far more appropriate. 7 days in a Polish jail would be enough to make them wise up ;)

(I love the use of 'English tossers' :D)

Pigeons taste good though.

In my town its seagulls that are a menace - but you cant shoot them because they are protected.

( Not that shooting anything in town is a good idea )

They eat them in China all the time:)
Maybe a clean one but a city pigeon??

Alka-Seltzer will take care of them:)

How about a clay pigeon? ;0 ;) I wonder how they taste :(

It's sad to see all the yobbos coming across. My friend's bro is having a do in June next year and I told him to behave himself. The English tend to be worse though, more nationalistic but I don't like to generalise too much. It's just based on observation.

Brits aren't seen that well by many Poles generally. Richer? Yes Smarter? No

Poland has exported some quality workers but the consensus is that it was the dregs of society that abandoned ship and fled for the shores of relief. This makes some Poles here mad in that they give Poles a bad rep.

As for any English who tried desecrating Scottish monuments by puking or pissing on them, they'd likely get a good hiding. Poles show more restraint here.

Oh yeah because Poles are a credit to their country when they're in England, be thankful those Brits were just being brutal with pigeons!

If you haven't noticed yet, this thread is generally about normal people doing bad things while being intoxicated, not about psychopaths. The way you put it, any person can retaliate with the same "oh yeah and your guys did this" childish drivel. Go make your own thread about whatever you want instead of off-topicing and trolling in here.

It isn't the case that Brits do such things because it's Poland. They do the same in Spain and their islands. Turkey too. I saw the potential for the English guys to do that in Japan but they were under strict orders not too. Being caught being disrespectful was an instant sacking, not to mention dealing with the firm Japanese police.

English tossers need to learn to get a grip and learn to handle their drink. Kraków is a pretty cultured place and they need to get with the vibe of the place.

but being honest with you they are just couple of dumb lads. and stupidity has no nationality. in 'pretty cultured place' as krakow youll meet many polish tossers likeem. its not about poles or angols or anyone else. its just mankind being stupid species. and people being out of the native country are more willing to do odd things.

I always thought the contrary, people feel safe when they are in familiar surroundings.. they know every recess, every back alley, and after a binge they'll, consciously or not, get home. I'd be pretty viligilant while drinking on foreign soil..

Indeed they may well be, probably Welsh too. Not enough Manx to have an impression.

But seriously, they got off very lightly indeed, in the UK they could easily have got a custodial sentence.

Im not trolling, I just get sick of comments about the British and how phucking terrible we are! Im not excusing what these pricks did, I was merely pointing out that whilst people complain about our behaviour abroad, we have the same problems with other nationalities here in the UK.

Quite!

Almost everything negative I've heard people in Poland say about the British, I've seen Poles do in UK. People are people, good and bad everywhere.

People like to act stupid. It doesn't matter where they are from. People are lame.

I'd like to see them thrown about by giant pigeons and see how they like it!
