Hi there, my name is Trevor (25) from Dublin.
I have a 10 month old son (Grzegorz) with my partner Anna.
I just wondered did anyone else have child with their polish partners?
I have concerns of how to raise him, do I send him to normal school,
do I send him to polish weekend school also?
Will kids here make fun of him because his name is different.
Just thought id ask anyone :)

Pozdrawiam

Definitely, there are many children of different nationalities in schools in Ireland. My friend is a primary school teacher and her class is a mixture of all nationalities, she says that all the children get on really well.

I don't think so. Its not that different.

A Polish school in Ireland is insane, they should be made to integrate.

Agreed. Irelands fooked up thanks to mass immigration. They Poles aim to turn parts of Ireland into mini Poland, they are aided and abetted by left wing do gooders.

Congratulations in that very astute observation. However, in your rush to race bait, you have overlooked one tiny little detail: the school in question is not being paid for by the Irish tax payer, it is being set up and financed by the Polish government and the Polish tax payer.

Really? There are several English schools in Poland. Would you support those schools being shut down? Or is it one rule for the Poles and another for everybody else?

Those are most certainly not words I have ever heard used to describe the Polish government.

Couldnt give a bollix, there should be no Polish schools on Irish soil. None what so ever, wanna learn the Polish cirriculam? Fine. Go to Poland.

Many Irish ones?

I am not talking about the Polish government. I am talking about the various quangos and state bodies who push their multicultural agenda and who squash all debate on the issue by using the race card, to the detriment of the Irish people.

How many Welsh in Poland? How many in the UK? You cannot compare the two.

Yes you can, everyone has to be the first immigrant somewhere ;) Maybe in 5 years time, there will be a (quote) "A Welsh school in Poland is insane, they should be made to integrate" thread on here, because there were only a few Welsh in Poland in 2009, but things changed!

Besides, the Welsh were the original British, so why shouldn't they be in the UK?

The Irish children I know in Warsaw go to one of the British schools here. None go to Polish schools. The current principal of the British School of Warsaw is an Irishman.

My child attends a Polish preschool and will go through the Polish education system for as long as I remain in this country, its only fair. I could and would never expect a Welsh education in Poland for my child

Obviously there shouldn't be any Irish Chambers of Commerce in Poland. Irish companies should be forced to integrate. In fact there should be no Irish companies in Poland. Wanna be an Irish company? Fine. Go to Ireland.

And Welsh people, there shouldn't be any Welsh in Poland. Wanna be Welsh? Fine. Go to Wales.

The questions i think the best thing to do with your child would be you speak to it in english and Your partner speaks to the child only in polish. This will mean that the child will know both langs fluent. I think thats the best bet but its up to you
hope it helps
