Leaving gift for Polish guy at work

I thought a gollywog would be a good leaving gift for one of the guys at work - I thought he'd find it funny - I'm off on hols this weekend but when I get back I'll pop to Howarth, there is a cracking little shop there that sells them..Ive got a little pot one.. What do you think? P.S. We have a laugh at work, he's the most PC Pole Ive ever met so I thought it would be funny!

Hey Shelley, I saw this golliwog (gollywog) at the sewing competition section, of the LA County fair. Maybe I should copy the pattern. I think it'll look cute in my friend's man cave! He'll probably say, "What the hell is that?"

I think you are thinking of a jollywog, RN ;) ;) ;) Give him sth from your local region, Shell. The more local, the better. The UK is very good for local products.

RevokeNice: Are they not banned in the US? Is a Jemima cookie jar banned in the US? Aunt Jemima pancake mix? Is it banned? What about Mrs Butterworth's or lawn jockey sculptures? Why would they be banned? RevokeNice, you sure don't know much about the world :D

Some of them collect Jemimas and no one complains about the pancake mix, the syrup or the pancake/sausage frozen dinners. Why would negros be offended by a Jemima? It' s just an obese black woman with her hair in a bandana fixing food.

PlasticPole In this PC world, everyone seems to get offended over the slightest little thing. Sure some tools even complained about the breakfast cereal, Lucky Charms. Me, I couldnt give a damn.

RevokeNice: Are they not banned in the US? Nope, black Americana is a very hot collectible in the United States. I resell it quite often in my antiques business.
