How many Irish?

Thankyou. I would rather be referred to as Irish than to make the assumption that my name is Paddy !!

It is an honest question. How many Irish in Poland? Care to over an opinion on the number or are you just going to keep posting off topic questions?

Have you considered contacting the Irish Embassy in Warsaw? They might have an idea. I don't think anyone here would.

FWIW some years ago I heard of a very large and growing Irish community in or around £ód¼ (though it may have been folklore, the source wasn't especially reliable).

The question should be how many Irish are in England surely.

Well that's not the best argument in the world, lexi. There are other illegal occupations around the world. It hinges on what you recognise as legal and illegal. Many points are contested, needless to say.

Perhaps a word exchange would be better here. "By force" I think is a much better word and cuts all political legislation.

An end to the illegal occupation is the only solution. Otherwise, well you know the rest.....

Oh come on everyone has to work together, otherwise is just festers hatred which is good for noone. Life is moving on, times are changing dramatically, you have to keep up with the times. Life is short and there is really no time for racial hatred. Towards lazy parasites and radicals yes. However people who want to find a "niche" in life then let it be whatever nationality.

By force reads really well, lexi. Stealth has been the choice of the powers that be for many's a year. Iraq, for example, being one of the main ones.

Don't know how many Irish are in Poland and don't really care.

So, we should allow anyone and everyone into our country, once they prove they want to work?

Reno, my luv, I'm in North Yorkshire now! It 's the governments fault, they should have monitored carefully what the quotas should have been. If you feel so strongly go to you local MP and start protests in the street, and boycott Tesco of course!

Why do you have this pre-conception towards the polish and not the various other nationalities that occupy your beautiful country, including the english

I am not against immigration, small numbers only though mind. The government is rotten to the core, they will do nothing. They are scared to bring up immigration as it is the elephant in the room.

Poles are our largest minority. Hence the reason I concentrate on Polish immigration. I am not to fond of the Turks and Kurds after recent developments. If they get into the EU, I fear what will happen in Ireland and the UK.

RevokeNice,,,,even the most "bleeding heart liberals" among us are in agreement that immigration is out of hand, this is anEU wide issue, not confined to Ireland. Ask any Italian, any Greek, any ,,,etc etc.
In UK Asian and African immigrants are allocated council houses above UK families, on estates where the English/UK family may be third or fourth generation. If anyone dares mention it they are labelled as "Racist" (shock!!!) Local politicians deny this but the truth is in front of our eyes.
Why however are you so concerned about the Polish? They are your religion, your colour and they are workers.
Unlimited immigration is not unique to Ireland.
We all have to live with it now. Or should we choose "rivers of blood"?
Why not just lay off. You've made your point.

Yeah heard of it....Paddy, Mick, whatever.

I dont really care how many Irish people are in Poland. Id say if there is work there then you'll find Irish there. What I do care about is how you portray the views of the Irish Nation on this forum.

You would be better placed bringing your splutter to the gates of Leinster House and see where it gets you.........I would hazard a guess at Mountjoy Jail !!
